Lenten Meditation – March 16, 2011

March 16, 2011

Lessons: Psalm 119:49-72, 49, 53, Deuteronomy 9:13-21, Hebrews 3:12-19, John 2:23-3:15

John 3:7-8 Marvel not that I said unto thee, ye must be born again. The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.

When we live the life God has intended, we often don’t understand or don’t like the life lessons that are embedded. We feel anger, bewilderment and puzzled when we lose a job, our full nest empties, we combat the daily struggle of an addiction or mourn the loss of a loved one through death.

We may never know where God’s will blows us or why it blows us there. However, we do know the Creator’s love and protection is eternal and that God never gives up on us.
